Uniform and Equipment

Uniform 

• Pale blue polo shirt (long or short sleeved) - Spring/Summer terms only.
• Royal blue V-necked jumper or cardigan with yellow trim - Autumn/Winter terms only.
• Blue blazer with KHS emblem embroidered on pocket - Autumn/Winter terms only.
• White, grey or black socks or black opaque tights.
• Black leather shoes with appropriate fastenings.
• Black knee length school skirt or shorts.
• Black school trousers.
• Gold and white striped dress for the summer (optional for junior girls).

Most Knowl Hill school uniform is available by Valentino School wear.

PE Kit

• Navy blue track suit top and bottoms with Knowl Hill emblem (required).
• Royal blue and white T-shirt with embroidered Knowl Hill emblem or white polo shirt with embroidered Knowl Hill emblem.
• Royal blue sports shorts.
• Sports trainers.
• Towel and swimming costume (to be kept in a waterproof draw string bag).

Outdoor Learning Clothing

• Navy blue track suit bottoms.
• Blue long sleeve shirt.
• Navy fleece (no hoodies).
• Waterproof coat.
• Waterproof trousers.
• Hat.
• Gloves.
• Sun hat.
• Sunscreen.
• Wellies or waterproof shoes.

Jewellery, Makeup and Hair

Jewellery is not permitted apart from a watch or a small pair of stud earrings (worn in each lower lobe.) All jewellery must be removed for PE.

Students are not permitted to wear make-up. Nail varnish and false/acrylic nails as well as false eyelashes are not allowed.

Hair colours must be natural, and haircuts should be no shorter than a grade 2. Long hair should be tied up for physical activities.

Equipment 

All students must come to school prepared and are required to bring the following:

• A rucksack - this should be able to fit inside the school lockers.
• A4 zip wallets - for students reading books.
• A lunchbox.
• A water bottle.
• Headphones/earphones.

Students pencil cases should contain the following:

• Triangular grip (preferred) pencils.
• Triangular grip (preferred) colouring pencils.
• Ruler - 15cm and 30cm.
• Pencil sharpener.
• 1 large glue stick.
• Scissors.
• 2 erasers.
• Highlighters - 3 to 4 different colours.
• Whiteboard pens - 2 to 3 different colours.
