Knowl Hill School is an independent, co-educational school situated in the picturesque villages of Pirbright and Bisley in Surrey. The school caters to students with a diverse range of complex and co-occurring needs, including specific learning difficulties often associated with diagnoses such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, and dyscalculia. Additionally, students may have ADHD, sensory sensitivities, developmental language disorders (DLD), hypermobility, autism, and anxiety. All new pupils have transitioned from mainstream educational settings, where many have faced negative experiences, including repeated academic failure and instances of bullying and social isolation. Sensory overload remains a significant challenge for many of these students.
